Sure, the iPhone 16e comes with the latest A18 Bionic chip, but in reality, most modern smartphones are already powerful enough for everyday tasks. A16 Bionic in the iPhone 15 is still an excellent chip and can handle anything you throw at it without a hitch. The only real advantage the iPhone 16e has is its improved battery life, but for me, that alone isn’t enough to justify choosing it over a more feature-rich device like the iPhone 15.

Apple’s biggest market is North America, and it makes most of its money there. That’s why it would never want its most loyal customers to get too comfortable choosing a cheaper iPhone over its premium models. If Apple truly wanted to push affordable iPhones, it would release them regularly—but it doesn’t, because that would weaken its brand image as a high-end tech company.

Apple has already captured most of the market in North America, and iPhone sales in Europe have been stagnant since 2019. So, it makes sense for the company to look elsewhere for growth. In India, where Apple products are a status symbol even a small price change can impact sales.
